![]() Looking at what little they've said about Rime, I know the dungeon in there isn't referenced in the LotCS campaign at all. There's some pretty big overarching plots that the party can be as interested or uninterested in as they want, and I'd be happy to explain the general sweeps if you'd like so you can guess a framework. That said, it's really good source material, and I haven't minded entirely reworking every single fight so as to keep the parties challenged. Go look up yeti stats in the MM verses the yetis over here ( ) from the LotCS book and you'll see why the 5e upgrades would absolutely butcher a small party of level 1s when they first-thing get dumped into a fight with five+ yeti. ![]() The main problem with LotCS is that it doesn't convert well to 5E, since it was written in the alpha version of 5E (D&D Next), and the content doesn't reflect the upgrades made to monster stats and mechanics. ![]() I'm currently running a LoTCS game with two groups (for extra practice, as I haven't done DMing in a long time and am trying to build a playerbase for other games later).
